🇬🇧 Hello everyone,

There's going to be a big change at Yeaaah! Studio : Laura and I decided to stop selling t-shirts to focus on prints and other paper media (stickers, postcards, etc...).

This decision is well thought out and is a result of climate change.

We have always tried to be as ethical as possible in our activity : since 2016 all our clothes are made of organic cotton (t-shirts) or contain recycled materials (hoodies & tote bags), and over the years we have gradually stopped using plastic packaging in favor of recycled or recyclable packaging.

We could have left it at that, but with the current climatic conditions, the question of resource management, and mainly water, arises.

Even if organic cotton cultivation requires 50% to 90% less water than regular cotton, it still consumes a lot : 250L to 1200L are used for the production of a single t-shirt, whereas only a few litres are needed for a recycled paper print.

Faced with this difference, we have chosen to go for the product that consumes the least water and is therefore the most responsible.

This choice also comes at a time when I want to devote more time to my artistic production (exhibitions, books, etc.) and therefore prefers paper, which is closer to my original works.

It's a risky change economically because the sale of T-shirts represents a huge part of our turnover but we have always favoured ethics over business, so this choice seems necessary. It is important for us to do our part (both personally and professionally) to keep our planet liveable.

In order to make this change as smoothly as possible, we are going to launch a final restocking of our best-selling t-shirts (see below) that we expect to arrive by the end of October.

So, we should have enough stuff for you to make your Holiday shopping, but if you’re interested in a model that is not in the list, please consider ordering it soon, before it’s gone forever.

Only these are going to be reprinted one last time.

We are still thinking about releasing a few t-shirts in the future, but it will be much more occasional than today and in very limited quantities.

We have some new prints coming this month and I’m currently working on our 2023 calendar so don’t worry, this is absolutely not the end of Yeaaah! Studio.

We hope you’ll keep supporting us like you’ve always done.
We wouldn’t be here without you all, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts !

❤️
Stéphane & Laura
